Privacy

Effective October 27, 2026. twizzle has no ads, no tracking cookies and no analytics. This page explains what it does handle.

Your account

You need an account to use twizzle. If you sign in with email, we store your email address. If you sign in with Apple, Google or TikTok, we store the account ID that service gives us, never your password. We also store the display name and gender you choose and the time you confirmed you are 18 or older. Your display name is shown to the people you meet; your email and gender are not.

Video and audio

Calls go directly between the two browsers whenever possible. When a direct connection fails, they are relayed through Cloudflare's TURN service. Either way they are encrypted end to end by WebRTC, and twizzle never records, stores or sees them.

Text chat

Chat messages pass through the twizzle server to the other person and are not stored or logged. They disappear when the call ends.

Your IP address

Your IP address is used to keep twizzle safe. When someone reports you, or you report someone, both addresses and the time are stored for 30 days so the two of you are not matched again and repeat offenders can be banned. Bans store the banned address until the ban ends. Reports and bans are also written to the server log, which is kept for a limited time. Like any website, the web server and Cloudflare, which carries traffic to the site, see your address when you connect.

Squads

A squad code and the list of who is in the squad exist only while the squad does, in the server's memory, and are never stored. Everyone in a call sees everyone else's display name.

Cookies

twizzle sets one cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived one while you sign in with Apple, Google or TikTok. Nothing is shared with third parties for advertising or analytics.

Children

twizzle is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow anyone younger to use it.
